Carbon 智能手表

我们的手腕现已成为一个竞争激烈的"新战场"，Pebble这样的创业公司正在与三星等科技巨头一决雌雄，而Jawbone UP和Nike+ FuelBand之类的活动追踪产品也正在展开较量。一款名为"Carbon"的可穿戴太阳能充电器也希望加入这场争夺，目前已在众筹平台Kickstarter上发起了一个众筹项目。

Carbon早在几周前便揭开了神秘面纱，这是一款可以戴在手腕上的充电器，内置了简单的太阳能电池板，配备800 mAh电池和USB充电接口，采集的太阳能可转换为能供智能手机通话三小时的电量。Carbon虽然创意很酷，在紧急情况下也能派上点用场，但作为可穿戴工具并不太实用。

根据Carbon开发商EnergyBionics从支持者那里搜集的反馈信息，该公司发现表盘可以提升用户对这款可穿戴设备的兴趣，于是便在最新升级中增加了表盘。Carbon的设计看上去与普通手表无异，外形酷似苹果iPod nano，还有多款表带可供用户选择。

新表盘可以作为薄膜覆盖在现有太阳能电池上，而表针则能够在手表机心的驱动下活动。用户可通过Carbon侧面按钮设置时间，表盘由Carbon的现有电池供电——EnergyBionics表示这不会影响Carbon的总体电池续航时间，因为它采用高效节能的处理器。

虽然从许多方面来看，表盘的增加只能算上是一次小幅的升级，但如果想让这款产品变得更有用，它将是一个决定性因素。作为一块备用电池，Carbon在可穿戴设备领域原本属于另类，但随着它也能当作真正的手表使用，由此让普通消费者更容易接受了。
