116名中国人加纳采金遭扣押

　　最新消息：据中国驻加纳使馆了解，在加方近日治理行动中有116名涉嫌非法采矿的中国公民被捕，并将被遣返回中国。中国驻加纳使馆已派员进行了领事探视，并要求加方文明执法，给予中方在押人员人道主义待遇，保障其安全与合法权益。

　　非洲西部国家加纳，黄金产量在非洲仅次于南非，这个有着“黄金海岸”之称的国家，近年来吸引越来越多的中国人到当地非法采矿淘金。近日加纳政府严打非法采金，有中国矿工及企业主就表示，有大批中国人正在准备撤离，但矿区已经有军警进入并严厉执法。

　　在加纳采矿的中国人发来手机照片，表示加纳官方正在严打非法采矿。当地华人预估已经有超过150人被拘捕，等待被遣返。有中国采金业者表示，在当地的矿区大部分已经停工，人员准备撤离。但过程中不少有合法工作签证的中国工人，和宾馆业者都在当地遭到抢劫。

　　加纳中国矿工组织负责人苏震宇：“军警会鼓励或怂恿当地村民对中国人进行洗劫，造成很多老乡被当地劫匪，抢劫和受到人身侵害。在被抓捕的过程中他们的护照、证件有的被销毁，有的丢失。”

　　加纳法律禁止外国人从事25英亩一下的小型金矿开采和运营，但有一个法律的漏洞，就是允许租用外国人设备和聘请外国技术工人。

　　不过，不少采金者的入境手续五花八门，多数人的签证都没有工作资格，据采矿华人统计，目前加纳已经有2-3万中国采金者，每年加纳出产98吨黄金，有一半都是有中国人在开采。中国采金者人数暴增，加上半机械化的小规模生产模式，都严重破坏了当地环境。

　　加纳政府近期加大力度大规模打击非法采金活动，中国大使馆方面也则劝谕国人不要为利益驱使到当地参与非法采矿，并指导在加纳的采金工人尽早回国。
